Our roots

The Serious Investor was incorporated in 2006 with a team that have spent most of their professional career in the property investment business. Having worked through the industry for some large well known brand names many grew frustrated with the hard sales and lack of knowledge that their competitors were bombarding customers with. The moral choice was taken to leave these companies and form a reputable business with a clear objective of marketing sound investments based on careful research.

Investors are not stupid

Part of the ethos at The Serious Investor is to provide you, the investor, with all of the information required to calculate the potential of the oppotunity against your position. We pride ourselves on undertaking our own due dilegence and ensure that the investments that we market not only have pleasing revenue returns but are also not risking your money in the process. Calculating risk is of course not an exact science and more so opinion but by giving you the information in one place with all the relevant supporting documents that opinion can then become more informed. Unlike some other companies, large and small, in this industry we are not assuming that by offering the investor a snippet about the opportunity and a hard sales approach will result in a successful business. We really believe in the numbers that enable the investor to make a sound decision.
